Individual Therapy

Love the path you’re on, because you designed it.

Your life is a complex, beautiful story in progress. Therapy is your writing room. It’s the space where you get to shape who you want to be and write what happens next—whether that looks like processing plot twists, making sense of your backstory, or getting the tools to embark on a new growth arc.

A dedicated space for close reading.

Sometimes we get caught up in the motions of daily life—meeting every deadline, showing up for our loved ones, and doing our best to manage our symptoms—while feeling increasingly disconnected from the “why” of it all.

We help you re-engage. At Vida Sana, you have a structured space to decode your experiences—examining the patterns, habits, and emotions that are driving your days and uncovering what needs attention.

Through a caring, collaborative relationship, we’ll put the pen back in your hand so you can go beyond reacting to your life and start actively shaping it with more confidence and self-trust.

The Ambitious Mind

For the mind that is always "on."

ADHD in Adults & Students

For the mind that moves faster than the world around it.

It’s not laziness. It’s a nervous system wired for interest and connection, often masked by years of perfectionism and burnout.

We move beyond shame to build systems that work for your brain, not against it.

OCD & Intrusive Thoughts

When thoughts won't turn off, life starts to feel small.

We know the difference between "being particular" and the exhausting cycle of obsessions and compulsions that steals your time and peace.

We tackle OCD together, using Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) at a pace you control. We don't force you into the deep end; we build the skills you need to trust yourself when the 'what ifs' get loud.

The Cycle Breaker

For the person navigating the weight of history and expectation.

First-Gen Experiences & Immigration Stress

Honoring where you come from while creating the life you want.

Navigating the "in-between" can feel tricky and sometimes isolating. We see the guilt of succeeding, the labor of translating cultural norms, and the pressure to make every sacrifice "worth it."

We help you untangle the guilt from the gratitude, finding a definition of "home" that includes you in it.

Trauma & Complex PTSD

Reclaiming your present from the grip of the past.

Trauma can live quietly in the body for years as tension, numbness, or the sense that you are always on guard. Whether it stems from a single event or the accumulation of feeling unseen, the impact is real.

We move at your pace to rebuild trust in your body and relationships. Our goal is to help you free yourself from the constant replay of pain so you can live fully in the here and now.

The Human Experience

For the seasons when life feels heavy or unclear.

Depression, Grief & Life Transitions

When the "gray cloud" lingers, you don't have to carry it alone.

Whether you are navigating a major loss, a career pivot, or a quiet disconnect from the things that used to bring joy, your pain is valid.

We hold space for what was lost while helping you gently clear a path for what is next.

A balance of Skills & Depth.

We customize our approach because one size doesn't fit all. We use evidence-based tools to help you cope right now, and deep exploration to help you heal for the long term.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

For reframing unhelpful thought patterns and finding clarity in the chaos.

Person-Centered Therapy

For creating a judgment-free space where you are the expert on your own life.

Psychodynamic Therapy

For understanding the "root cause"—how your past shapes your present patterns.

Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP)

For safely facing fears and breaking the cycle of anxiety and OCD.

Out-Of-Network

For other plans, we provide "superbills" so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. Out-of-network fees are $100-$325 per 50-minute session. Many insurance plans reimburse people anywhere from 30-80% of sessions fees, depending on your specific plan and deductible.

Accessibility

We offer limited sliding scale options for those with financial need. Please ask about availability during your consultation.

  • No, you don’t need a formal diagnosis to start therapy.

In the intake appointment, we’ll review what you’re experiencing, your mental health history, and relevant background to get a clear picture of your needs and goals. If you plan to use insurance benefits (in-network or out-of-network superbills), a diagnosis is required in order to submit and process claims.

  • If you’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help, you’re not alone – and it doesn’t mean therapy can’t work for you.

At Vida Sana, we’ll ask about what you’ve tried in the past — what felt helpful, what didn’t, and what you wish had been different. We use that information in your intake (and ongoing sessions) to tailor the approach, pace, and treatment plan to your needs, preferences, and goals so the work feels more aligned and effective.

  • Yes—therapy is confidential. What you share in therapy stays private and is protected by law. There are a few limited exceptions, which we’ll review during your intake, such as situations involving immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult, or if records are legally required by a court. Our team will always aim to be transparent and discuss these limits with you.

Ready to find your footing?

You’ve been holding it all together for a long time. You don’t have to carry the weight of your history, your ambition, or your emotions alone. Let’s build a space where you can finally put it down, examine it with care, and decide how you want to move forward.
