I’m Dr. Kiara Manosalvas, the founder and clinical director of Vida Sana Psychology & Wellness, PLLC.

Whether you’re a woman of color carrying generations of expectations, a couple determined to rewrite old patterns, or someone finally ready to face mental health stigma head-on—you belong here.

At Vida Sana Psychology & Wellness, healing starts with relationship. We listen for the story beneath the stress, honor the cultures and identities that shape you, and match you with a therapist whose expertise and lived experience align with your needs.

Our care is as intentional behind the scenes as it is in session. We mentor and support the next generation of bilingual, culturally affirming therapists, because strong clinicians create stronger care.

Here, therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all.

It’s a space to be fully seen, supported, and cared for — so you can reclaim your life with confidence and connection.

We’re so glad you’re here.

Who We Work With

Care designed for first-generation professionals, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, and anyone ready to heal, grow, and break cycles

  • You’ve carried the weight of being the first to “make it”—whether in college, your career, or in your family. We know how isolating it can feel to succeed while also carrying unspoken expectations at home. In therapy, we’ll create space for you to untangle those pressures, honor your roots, and move forward without losing yourself.

  • On the outside, you seem like you have it all together—but inside, it can feel chaotic, exhausting, and never enough. We understand what it’s like to be smart, ambitious, and still feel scattered or behind. Together, we’ll build strategies that actually fit your brain, so you can stop burning out and start feeling more in control of your life.

  • If your mind never seems to stop racing, if panic shows up out of nowhere, or if you’re stuck in exhausting loops of intrusive thoughts—you’re not alone. We’ll help you understand what’s happening in your body and mind, and practice skills that bring real relief. You don’t have to spend every day in fight-or-flight mode.

  • Balancing cultures, languages, and expectations isn’t easy. You may feel like you’re in between two worlds—never fully belonging in either. We get it. Therapy here is a space where you won’t have to explain your culture or prove your experiences. Instead, we’ll explore what it means to belong, to thrive, and to define success on your own terms.

  • Maybe you’re carrying wounds from your own past, or maybe you’ve noticed patterns passed down in your family that weigh heavy on you now. We believe healing happens when you can connect the dots, break cycles, and create new ways of being. Together, we’ll honor where you come from and build the tools to move forward.

  • Every couple gets stuck in patterns that feel impossible to break. Maybe you’re fighting more, maybe you’re growing apart, or maybe you just don’t feel heard. In couples therapy, we’ll slow things down, uncover what’s really driving the conflict, and help you both learn to speak—and listen—in ways that bring you closer again.

  • You deserve a space where all of who you are is welcomed and affirmed. We know how racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other systems of oppression can impact your mental health. In therapy with us, you won’t have to shrink or hide parts of yourself. We’ll meet you with care, affirmation, and support that honors your full identity.

Let’s stay connected.
